Track 1 features Markus Hawkins playing violin and Ron Kutulas providing samples of western drum sounds, assorted acoustic sounds, and a Calabash (large gourd). The guitars, Messenger bass, Udu, Tabla and percussion are me. Track 2 and 3 are me playing an ensemble of drums including Djembe, Dharabouka, Udu, Doumbek and a Talking drum. Track 4 is a one minute sample from a song from a different genre, with me singing and playing djembe and Messenger bass. These are bed tracks - not intended as finished music and not mastered.
